The Story Behind Success with David Richards CBE

Few people have lived motorsport the way David Richards has. From the dust and dirt of rally stages alongside Ari Vatanen, claiming FIA World Rally Championship glory in 1981, to the electric atmosphere of Formula One’s pit lane as BAR Team Principal, navigating the relentless pressures of motorsport’s most demanding environment. David’s achievements have placed him at the heart of racing’s most defining chapters with a career that reads like the history of the sport itself.

Hear those stories told the way they happened: unfiltered, unscripted, and with the kind of detail that never makes it into the history books. Learn what it really takes to run a team at the pinnacle of motorsport. How David took the helm of one of the world’s most legendary automotive brands as chair of Aston Martin. And understand how Prodrive became the enduring powerhouse it is today. David brings a perspective that spans every level of the sport, from racing paddocks and factory floors to boardrooms and high-level events.
