Veloce adds Va Va Vroom to Hope for Tomorrow fundraising.
Fabulous fundraising and marvellous motorsport came together in what was a spectacular day at Goodwood Motor Circuit for Veloce 2024, with Hope for Tomorrow once again chosen as a charity beneficiary of the event.
Those lucky enough to be there for ‘the greatest track day on Earth’, were treated to thrilling passenger laps with racing icons including Damon Hill and Hope for Tomorrow patron, Derek Bell. There was also the chance to get up close and personal with some beautiful, rare and valuable racing cars such as the Ferrari 250 SWB and McLaren P1, as well as taking part in a grid walk, driver interviews and test drives.
It was a racing fan’s dream and there was an undeniable buzz around the event from not only the roar of the engines, but the wonderful array of drivers who shared their skills and experience and a host of amazing guests who showed us their support, including Rowan Atkinson.
Once again, V-Management organised a brilliant day and we would like to say a very big thank you to them and everyone who came along to this year’s Veloce.
said Emma Bowles, High Value Partnerships Manager at Hope for Tomorrow who was there on the day. “It was such a successful event which everyone thoroughly enjoyed while helping to raise a huge amount of money at the same time. Since it started in 2017, Veloce has raised a siginificant sum of money for a range of different charities which is a spectacular achievement.
“Auctioneer, Thomas Forrester once again did a brilliant job of securing bids on our behalf and we couldn’t be more grateful to have been chosen as a charity beneficiary. Every penny will go towards supporting mobile cancer care units to bring cancer care closer to patients in more communities. To have the continued support from Veloce is something we’re very proud of as we know the difference it makes to cancer patients.”
This year’s event wouldn’t have been possible without Veloce’s generous sponsors and partners; Broad Arrow Auctions, HFMC Wealth, Aviva UK, Lockton, Krome, Boodles Classic Motor Cars Ltd and V Events.
