Preparing for Paris – Meet our Runners

We’re fully booked! All five of our charity spaces for the Paris Marathon have been snatched up – and we couldn’t be more excited about the incredible individuals stepping up to run in aid of Hope for Tomorrow.

These brilliant people are lacing up their trainers and pushing their limits – all to to ensure our mobile cancer care units can reach even more patients across the country.

Luke Kuttschreuter

Coming out of treatment for my own cancer, I vowed to push my body’s limits by taking on challenges like running a marathon, to show I am not just a patient. The icing on the cake is being able to support such an amazing charity that makes a very real difference to so many families living with cancer.

Elliott Keightley

As a 29-year-old who lifts weights and plays football, I’m running the 2026 Paris Marathon for Hope for Tomorrow to help bring essential cancer care closer to patients. Before I turn 30, I want to push my limits. Not just for my fitness and to try new things, but to power mobile treatment units that ease suffering and save lives.

Joshua Richards

Passionate about making a difference, I’m lacing up for my third marathon, the 2026 Paris Marathon, in aid of Hope for Tomorrow, helping ensure more people can access vital cancer treatment with dignity and care. Every mile is dedicated to making a difference for patients and families.

James York & Ben Bennett

James – “My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024 and used the mobile unit for most of her treatment. Using the unit was less stressful for her and it saved her hours in the care. It made a huge difference to her. By raising funds for the charity, it can continue to offer treatments in rural areas and help lots of other patients just like my Mum”

Ben – “I’m running the marathon for Hope for Tomorrow because James [York] is my best mate, and I am supporting him and his mum in raising money for the charity”

As you can see, each of our Paris Marathon runners brings their own story and motivation, but they share one common goal – ensuring mobile cancer care reaches every patient who needs it.

So, ‘Bon Courage’ to our fantastic five – we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way!
