Hope for Tomorrow have launched their new campaign ‘Pay for a Day’ at Cheltenham Hospital Oncology Centre.
Each Mobile Cancer Care Unit costs the charity £198 per day to keep on the road and we are seeking support from Gloucestershire businesses to help keep the wheels turning. In 2018 over 14,000 treatments were administered across our fleet.
We are thrilled to have had such a great response from local businesses who have kindly already signed up to Pay for a Day by donating £198. Their support is a fantastic way to start this campaign and we would love to hear from any other businesses who would be interested in helping us to keep the wheels turning. Our mobile cancer care unit means so much to local cancer patients as it enables them to save time by having their cancer care closer to home, saving them time and energy to be with the people that mean the most.
The first Gloucestershire businesses who have signed up to this campaign are:
Tidal Training Direct
Tidal Training
Harbour Key
Imperial Hill Group
The Logical Utilities Company
Brace Creative Agency
Cyber Security Associates
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to support Hope For Tomorrow. The team have allowed so many patients to stay closer to home, offering some degree of comfort, during a very stressful process. What a fantastic endeavour to undertake. Well done.” Haris Khan, Managing Director, Imperial Hill
