Our charity has progressed tremendously since we launched the world’s first MCU in 2007 and in 2017 we celebrated the 10th anniversary of the launch of our first Mobile Chemotherapy Unit (the world’s first). Although we are award winning for innovation, we constantly strive to learn and improve and we need our branding to reflect this kind of expansion.
As we grow with our NHS Partners, a wide range of cancer care is becoming available on board our units.
Following this, we have decided to update the name of our Mobile Chemotherapy Units to Mobile Cancer Care Units (MCCUs).
This re branding will be rolled out over time through our MCCUs, website and any form of communication from our charity and NHS Partners.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you and we look forward to your continued support in the future.
