We’re always delighted to welcome a new charity partner to Team Hope and our friends at Porter Press International are no exception. There’s already a lot of synergy between our respective teams, which means we’re off to a flying start, with big plans for the future.
Founded in 2005 by acclaimed automotive author, Philip Porter, and run by him and his wife, Julie, Porter Press International is renowned across the globe for publishing top-quality motoring books and is firmly established as a leading motoring publisher. The flagship ‘Great Cars’ series has won numerous awards, with subjects including the double Le Mans-winning Ford GT40, Ross Brawn’s Ferrari 250 GT SWB, Le Mans-winning Jaguar C-type and a very important Ferrari 250 GTO.
Nikki Budding, Corporate & Community Fundraising Manager at Hope for Tomorrow said, “This is a very exciting opportunity to work with an organisation that has so many shared passions and values, and we are thrilled to have been confirmed as the official Porter Press Charity Partner. We have already started work on a number of exciting projects together which will support our mission of bringing cancer care closer to home for patients across the UK”.
Philip Porter announced, “Porter Press is delighted to be working with Hope for Tomorrow. The common denominator is motor racing. We have already published books with Hope for Tomorrow Patrons and supporters, such as Martin Brundle and Ross Brawn, and we have several exciting co-operative book projects we’ll be announcing soon. I have personally had, and recovered from, cancer and appreciate how important is the support that the charity gives to sufferers”.
Hope for Tomorrow supporters should keep an eye on our website and social media platforms for updates.
