Formula for Success Motor Racing Dinner raises over £68,000 for charity

On Thursday 16th May we held our flagship fundraising event ‘Formula for Success’ at The Leonardo Royal Hotel London City, London, EC3.  The event lived up to its name when our Patrons from the world of motor racing along with over 200 guests helped raised just over a staggering £68,000.

This exclusive, interactive event with guests from the world of British motor racing, including Brawn GP, was an evening not to be missed. 10 years on from Brawn GP’s spectacular World Championship win, Martin Brundle held a candid interview with Ross Brawn to discover the story behind the team’s formula for success, and to hear stories from behind the scenes and beyond the track.

Guests got to ask their own questions to the motor racing legends who were present which included, David Richards CBE, Derek Bell MBE, David Brabham and Nick Fry, all of whom are patrons of the charity Hope for Tomorrow.

Martin Brundle says: “It was fascinating to hear from Ross himself in a unique setting about the extraordinary achievement of ‘Brawn’ and Jenson Button winning the 2009 F1 World Championship, a team and iconic livery which existed for one glorious year. The other inside stories from the charity patrons were fascinating and I am thrilled that so much money was raised for such a worthwhile cause”

An enormous thank you to all involved.
