Giving Big with the Big Give
‘Tis the season, so they say, the giving season. As we approached 2023’s festive season, Hope for Tomorrow embraced the spirit of giving and we launched our Christmas campaign, built upon the Big Give Christmas Challenge – an opportunity to amplify our impact and have donations given during the period of 28 November to 05 December matched, making one donation with double the impact.
We’re pleased to say that thanks to your generous donations, we have reached a fantastic total of £12,152, including Gift Aid, raised from the Big Give Christmas Challenge and our recent Christmas campaign – with more donations coming in still!
Our most sincere appreciation goes out to our supporters who took part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge and donated to support our fundraising efforts, helping us reach that important target, while making many of the donations received during this time go even further.
We are incredibly grateful for every donation received and are most thankful to the community of fantastic, generous supporters that continue to be there for Hope for Tomorrow so that we can be there for cancer patients when they need us.
The funds raised will make a significant difference to our work – it can mean a patient receives their treatment without enduring the physical and emotional strain of travel. It can mean a family gets to spend more time together, creating precious memories during challenging times.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, contributes to this cause meaning we can continue our mission of making cancer care more convenient. In fact, the money raised from this campaign alone could keep the wheels turning on one of our mobile cancer care units for 8 weeks, treating up to 20 patients a day. Patients like Charlotte, who is receiving her treatment on board our Lincolnshire based mobile cancer care unit.
