We want to extend another huge thank you to our charity patron, Geoffrey Bray, and his army of Minehead supporters for the incredible amount they raised to keep the wheels turning, through the showing and sales of Geoffrey’s film “Chance Encounter”.
The short film was an idea developed by Geoffrey and our founder, Christine Mills, who sadly passed last year. It follows a love story between two young people who meet on a train one summer. Set in the 1950s, the tale is beautifully played by local actors and actresses and was carefully crafted over a period of 3 years .
A sell-out audience of over 400 people came together to support Hope for Tomorrow and Geoffrey at the premier of the film and the day was enjoyed by all! More than 160 guests arrived having dined on a West Somerset Railway steam train, catered for by Michelin star chefs.
