Captain Dan Conley

Dan first became involved in Hope for Tomorrow in June 2009 when he attended our Annual Charity Polo Day as a guest of our Chairman, Lord MacLaurin. Dan was the Chief Executive of the Fisherman’s Mission, as well as being heavily involved with the Rotary Club of Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire.

Dan has visited various Rotary Clubs around the UK spreading the word about Hope for Tomorrow, which has raised over £55k towards our Mobile Chemotherapy Unit project, and particularly, a Unit for Wiltshire.

Our North Wiltshire Mobile Chemotherapy Unit ‘Linda’, which launched at Great Western Hospital, Swindon on 29th September 2014, is named in memory of Dan’s wife Cllr Linda Conley, who was a wonderful lady, and a fantastic supporter of Hope for Tomorrow.

Dan received his Ambassador award from Lord MacLaurin, during a ceremony held in October 2014.
